Shift Supervisor-Outbound

The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating activities of workers engaged in outbound shipping. This includes verifying and keeping records on outgoing shipments, and preparing items for shipment. They will serve as an example to subordinates and enforce all applicable safety rules. 2026

Responsibilities

• Reviews orders, to determine shipping priorities, work assignments & equipment required to meeting shipping schedules
• Oversees outgoing shipping activities to ensure other fulfillment accuracy, completeness, & condition of loads
• Responsible for leading their shift in the efficient processing of freight in order picking, checking  & loading
• Inspects material handling equipment for defects & notifies maintenance personnel or contacts outside service facility for repair
• Responsible for the accuracy of all work performed
• Responsible for adherence & execution of standardized procedures
• Maintain good housekeeping in area & adhere to established Company Safety policies at all times
• Other duties as assigned

 

Competencies

• Ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Efficient at tracking and resolving non-conforming product(s)
• Proficient in SAP & Microsoft Office
• Efficient with RF Scanners
• Must be able to be PIT certified
• Bilingual(Spanish) is a plus 

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• 2+ year of warehousing experience in leadership role
• Must be able to obtain forklift license through the Company
• Bilingual – English & Spanish speaking preferred
