Job description

Bid Lifecycle Management

▶ Own bids end-to-end from RFI/PQQ through to submission and presentation

▶ Manage virtual bid teams across Sales, Technical, Commercial, and Delivery

▶ Produce and maintain bid briefs ensuring win strategy drives all content

▶ Facilitate strategy, and review sessions with senior stakeholders

▶ Ensure governance, approvals, and timescales are met at every stage

Bid Quality & Content

▶ Lead the development of high-quality, client-focused bid content, directing and coaching subject-matter experts to articulate clear, persuasive responses

▶ Drive editorial quality and assurance, challenging and refining all contributions to ensure clarity, compliance, consistency and a strong narrative flow

▶ Define and drive compelling win themes, embedding them consistently across the full submission and evidencing clear differentiation

▶ Prepare case studies, CVs, and supporting documentation to a high standard

Continuous Improvement

▶ Lead post-bid reviews and maintain a structured bid knowledge library

▶ Identify process improvements and champion bid best practice across the team

▶ Coach and develop junior team members, raising overall team capability

Essential

▶ Proven track record managing complex, high-value bids end-to-end

▶ Demonstrable success winning UK or Irish Public Sector technology bids

▶ Exceptional written communication with meticulous attention to detail

▶ Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously against tight deadlines

▶ Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills at all levels

▶ Sound commercial acumen and strong financial literacy

▶ Confident facilitator of bid strategy and review sessions

▶ Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint

 

Desirable

▶ Background in IT services or technology solutions bidding

▶ APMP Foundation or equivalent bid and proposal qualification

▶ Experience with tender portals, document management, or CRM platforms
