Job description
ReconCraft is seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead and optimize all warehouse and logistics operations in Clackamas, Oregon. This role is responsible for overseeing material receiving, storage, staging, kitting, shipping, and inventory control while ensuring efficient material flow across the organization.
The Warehouse Manager plays a critical role in supporting production and project teams by driving operational efficiency, maintaining high inventory accuracy, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. This position requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a commitment to safety, organization, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, kitting, and shipping
- Ensure timely and accurate material flow to support production and project schedules
- Maintain organized warehouse layout, staging areas, and inventory locations
- Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP system
- Conduct cycle counts and audits to ensure high inventory accuracy
- Oversee kitting and distribution of materials to project work centers
- Coordinate outbound logistics, including delivery scheduling and pickups
- Manage company drivers, including route planning and daily workload
- Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse personnel while assigning daily tasks
- Enforce safety standards, OSHA compliance, and proper use of equipment and PPE
- Track and report KPIs, providing updates on warehouse performance and improvements
Essential Job Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education and Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Additional education or certifications in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred
- Required Experience
- Minimum 7 years of warehouse, logistics, or material management experience
- Minimum 5 years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong experience with ERP systems and inventory control processes
- Proven ability to improve warehouse operations and material flow
- Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and warehouse management systems
- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- High attention to detail and process discipline
- Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Warehouse and yard environment with exposure to equipment and varying weather conditions
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods (10+ hours/day)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- May require extended or flexible hours based on operational demands
