About the Internship
WebFX is seeking an intern for our IT Support team! Our ideal candidate is either a current college student or a recent college grad, with a history of strong academics, and an interest in pursuing a career in IT Support. Classroom-level familiarity with basic IT skills is expected, but no experience is required - as an intern, you're here to start building that experience!
Internship Logistics: What to Know
This is an in-person internship, based at our riverside campus in Harrisburg, PA This internship is flexible with hours and days - we will work with our interns to determine a schedule that is a mutual fit Interns will enjoy their own work space and tech set-up at our office, along with the ability to wear jeans/casual dress to work each day
The Qualifications: Who You Are
Education
A Bachelor's Degree: Either in Progress or Completed All Majors Welcome! GPA: 3.4 or above
Suggested Experience and Skills Customer service experience in any industry Strong written and verbal communication skills Solid understanding of Windows and Mac OS Basic familiarity with the latest business office technologies Classroom or part-time job-level familiarity with tech support or IT Help Desk-related work Eagerness to learn and be trained!

The Internship Responsibilities: What You'll Learn to Do
Under the guidance of senior-level mentors, interns in this position can expect to:
Provide technical support for incoming queries related to computer systems, software, and hardware Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software Run diagnostic programs to identify and resolve problems Maintain the performance of computer systems Install and configure new Windows and Mac workstations Create new accounts for incoming team-members Support online software configuration and answer team member questions
