Program Coordinator for Youth Inclusion (COACH)

Once trained about LP4Y Pedagogy, the Coach will take part in supporting a team of up to 18 Young Adults (17 to 25 years old). Here are the different responsibilities of the Coach mission:

  • Implementation of LP4Y Pedagogy & development of the Micro Company of TDC Beirut to enable the Youth to develop soft and hard skills, business, management, planning, communication, professionalism, time management
  • Program Coordination: management of the budget, the calendar, the activities and the follow up of the Youth and the Pedagogy so Youth gain confidence in their capacity to act and therefore find and keep a decent job
  • Partnership development: create and develop an ecosystem of integration for the Youth with diverse partners
  • Collaborate with a multicultural team to answer our goals. You'll be supported by 3 different Project Leaders (Finance, Pedagogy, Partnership) 

The coaching mission is the core of LP4Y mission. It's also one of the most demanding for the diversity of responsibilities the coach has to handle. We are looking for a solutions-oriented profile who like challenges and that are willing to develop in program coordination.

Skills and Criteria

  • At least 23 years old
  • Female
  • Fluent in English 
  • Work experience in the corporate sector will be appreciated
  • Experience working with vulnerable people will be appreciated 
  • Good knowledge in Google workspace (sheets, excel, drive, email…)
  • Professional behavior
  • Ability to work in a team (team spirit) especially with intercultural members
  • Motivated and proactive profile who like challenges
  • Ready to learn and grow
  • Volunteer spirit: in LP4Y we all are volunteers. We work together and live together so having this positive dedicated mindset is really key.
     

Location:

  • Bourj Hammoud, Beirut 

Benefits:

  • Allowance: 300$ /month (fixed for the first year of contract)

  • Housing is provided  – free accommodation

Working Schedule:

  • Working time : about 40h/week

  • Work days : Monday to Friday based on 8 hours/day

  • Holidays : 24 days + 4 long week ends in 1 year 

 

Contract: 

  • Full time (no remote possible) 

  • 1 year mission

The minimum duration of this mission is 12 months, and will appeal to candidates who are ready to learn and passionate about intercultural cooperation. We recommend being open to a 24 month’s mission as we believe that this duration will allow you to acquire a more profound catalyst experience and to develop both your professional and personal aspects.
