Position Description The Senior Financial Systems Analyst plays a critical role in maintaining the performance, integrity, and security of financial systems at Applied Medical. Working closely with accounting, finance, and IT teams, this role is responsible for optimizing financial system operations, supporting system upgrades and integrations, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Candidates with a background in financial systems analysis, ERP administration, or financial technology implementation within a corporate finance environment are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Evaluate existing financial systems and develop recommendations for process improvements, system upgrades, and technology enhancements. Collaborate with accounting, finance, and IT departments to implement financial system upgrades and integrate new software solutions into existing infrastructure. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security within financial systems through regular audits, system checks, and compliance monitoring. Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation to support operational continuity and regulatory compliance. Provide technical support and training to staff on financial systems including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms, SAP, OneStream, and Power BI. Troubleshoot and resolve financial system issues, coordinating with vendors and service providers to sustain optimal system performance. Create detailed reports on system performance, improvement opportunities, and compliance with financial regulations and standards. Manage financial system projects including planning, execution, and cross-functional coordination to ensure timely and accurate delivery. Success in This Role Looks Like Sustaining financial system performance, data integrity, and security across a complex, multi-department organization. Delivering system upgrades and integrations on time with minimal disruption to financial operations. Producing clear, actionable reports and insights that support leadership decision-making and financial compliance. Building strong cross-functional partnerships with accounting, finance, and IT teams to streamline processes and reduce redundancies. Serving as a reliable technical resource and trainer that elevates the team's proficiency with financial systems and tools. Position Requirements This Position Requires the Following Skills and Attributes Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, information systems, or a related field. Five or more years of experience with ERP and financial systems such as SAP, OneStream, or Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC). Demonstrated experience with financial system implementations, upgrades, and integrations within a corporate environment. Proficiency in financial software including SAP, OneStream, and Power BI. Experience with SQL and database management tools for financial data analysis and reporting. Demonstrated project management experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills. High attention to detail and accuracy in financial system management and reporting. Preferred The Following Skills and Attributes Are Preferred Industry-specific certifications such as Certified Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or equivalent. Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements relevant to financial systems and data management. Previous experience in financial systems management or a related financial technology role.
