Job Title:  Cardiac Monitor Tech

Employment Type:  Part-Time

Shift:  6:00PM-6:30AM with every other weekend

Location: Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital

Position Purpose:

The Cardiac Monitor Technician is an essential member of the health care team who is responsible for recognition and interpretation of cardiac rhythms.  The monitor technician recognizes the importance interpersonal skills in delivery of service to internal and external customers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma.

• Successful completion of dysrhythmia course.

• Ability to read and recognize issues with monitor strips and machinery.  

• One year experience as monitor technician preferred.
