What You’ll Do
- Lead a team responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing the digital tools and processes that support entire product development lifecycle.
- Ensure seamless integration across design, manufacturing, certification, and production phases of our eVTOL aircraft programs.
- Oversee enterprise CAD and PLM tool deployment, configuration, and maintenance.
- Ensure system integration and data integrity supporting all engineering disciplines including configuration management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and user experience.
- Lead the monitoring and support of all PLM and CAD applications to ensure high availability and efficient performance for end users.
- When necessary, perform technical assignments to support the ongoing project or ad-hoc needs for the PLM or CAD tool area.
- Steer the design and implementation/optimization of release processes for design data.
- Responsible for Engineering BOM (EBOM) by overseeing tools to support product structure management and configuration control of design data and product structure.
- Handle MCAD/ECAD/Wiring by managing tools supporting mechanical, electrical, and wire harness design integration.
- Perform Design & Manufacturing Engineering by supporting design for manufacturability processes and engineering change management.
- Lead the implementation of tooling and processes to support the definition, release, and maintenance of MBOMs using Siemens Manufacturing Process Planner (MPP) or EasyPlan Bill of Process (BOP) & Routings.
- Implement tools and processes to ensure compliance with aerospace documentation standards (e.g. AS9100).
- Manage the tools for digital work instruction creation and distribution systems and integrations.
- Design, develop, and implement tools that will maintain product configuration integrity throughout the product’s lifecycle in coordination with Archer’s Configuration Management team.
- Lead the implementation of robust data controls, including export control administration, for managing appropriate access and release of data.
- Oversee CFD, FEA, and other analysis tool deployment and support.
- Support FAA certification processes through digital substantiation and documentation management.
Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
Minimum Experience Requirement: 10 years experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM platform, including Teamcenter multi-site setup and configuration, Teamcenter disaster recovery solutions, migration of Teamcenter from on-premise infrastructure to cloud infrastructure, migration of Teamcenter volumes from on-premise to cloud storage solutions, developing Integration Tool Kit (ITK) utilities, developing C++ customizations, and migrating data from Teamcenter from external systems, such as Teamcenter Enterprise or other PLM Systems. 2 years experience with Siemens NX CAD system and 1 year experience with Polarion system administration, development and customization.
