SolidWorks Design Engineer

This role is for a dedicated and skilled SolidWorks professional who will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models and technical drawings for various product design and engineering projects.

Job Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is not only to create and manage complex 3D designs using SolidWorks, but also to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the designed models meet the required specifications and functionality requirements. The incumbent will be expected to provide solutions to design problems and demonstrate excellent communication skills when presenting ideas and incorporating feedback from team members.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Creating detailed 3D models and technical drawings for product design and engineering projects using SolidWorks
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet specifications and functionality requirements
• Troubleshooting design issues effectively
• Presenting design concepts clearly and effectively, and incorporating feedback into designs

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in SolidWorks is a must
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proven ability to troubleshoot design issues
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in 3D modeling and technical drawing
