As part of the Finance team, this position will the prepare/review, transmit and receive payroll data, taxes, and payroll deductions for a global company in a multi-cycle environment The candidate must have ADP Workforce Now and 401K knowledge. The ideal employee will have equity experience or the ability to learn equity administration very quickly. This position will be responsible in creating and maintaining all procedures and training material. Responsibilities Prepare and process full cycle US & Canada, exempt and non-exempt payrolls while ensuring compliance with Federal and State regulations and company policy Manage international payroll including data transmission, reconciliation, tax funding memo wires and requests; liaise with external payroll service vendors worldwide Partner with Human Resources on all matters involving employees compensation, benefits and disability payments. Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits, including RSU, ESPP and 401(k) contributions and funding Ensure all payroll runs GL have been recorded in the financial system in a timely manner Book appropriate payroll accruals for month end close and ensure all costs have been recorded in the correct period Remit tax filings and payments by collecting and verifying data; preparing federal, state and local tax reports and W2 statements Manage 401k administration, filings and serve on committee Partner with HR in aligning and implementing a more sophisticated payroll and benefits system. Operates payroll functions within the Specific Guidelines set forth by SOX Compliance and Segregation of Duties. Adhering to the Control Objectives based on Internal Audit policy and procedures Works with both internal and external auditors Oversee application controls and perform system and user audits for financial systems, including Concur, NetSuite, Open Air and ADP Workforce Develop and generate ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed Maintain accurately employee information in all relevant systems Exercise judgment within defined procedures and propose appropriate solutions; Interpret payroll policies and procedures to company employees of all levels CCP (certified payroll professional) Understanding of Equity (preferred) , but what you’ll be asked to learn Oversee stock administration for accuracy of data input into Equity Edge Online Ensure accuracy of option grants/exercises and RSU grants/releases Manage ESPP enrollment and purchases, ensuring compliance with ESPP program Maintain and update insider list and blackout periods Review income tax calculations for W-2 reporting of equity awards Responsible for all tax statements, documents, clearances, support and filings Qualifications Required System Knowledge: ADP Workforce Now (Must Have) Microsoft Office – intermediate Excel skills including vLookups and Pivot tables Preferred NetSuite Concur Open Air Equity Edge Online (preference given to candidates) Prior experience with payroll software implementation Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required; accounting degree preferred Experience working with ADP Workforce Now Prior experience in 401K administration, payroll management Hands on experience using Excel vLookups and Pivot tables Prior month-end accounting close experience is required Ability to deliver business results under pressure, championing performance improvement and customer focus Experience working with an external audit and handling audit support Multi-state tax experience Equity administration for payroll processing Experience within a software company preferred Pay Range USD $25.00 - USD $35.00 /Hr.
