About the Business You’ll Support – Hardscape.com Hardscape.com is a specialized business within the SiteOne family, focused exclusively on porcelain pavers and premium hardscape solutions. Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the daily operations of the accounting department. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, experience with ERP systems, such as Oracle NetSuite or similar platforms, and strong analytical and organizational skills. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and supporting documentation. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions. Prepare and issue invoices to clients. Receive and review vendor bills and prepare checks or payments for processing. Support management during the monthly accounting close process. Maintain accurate, well-organized financial records and documentation. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and internal company policies, procedures, and regulations. Provide administrative and operational support to the accounting and finance team as needed. Skills We Are Seeking Technical degree or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Previous experience as an Accounting Assistant or in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role. Proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a plus) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
