Purpose of the job:
A change catalyst to enable and empower our leaders to be stronger people managers and strengthen our EVP with focus on employee experience rather than employee relations.
To orchestrate implementation and alignment of HR strategy and people programmes in business unit to achieve commercial goals and create a culture where the best, brightest and the most engaged people are excited by the career opportunities in their market and across the Dentsu Aegis Network.

The role:
The right candidate must possess a comprehensive knowledge of HR to handle complex projects and stakeholders’ engagement – Business Partnering to Senior Business Leaders, Change Agent, Talent Acquisition & Management, Employee Engagement, Employee Relations and Rewards. The candidate will be responsible to provide strategic HR advice and consultancy to business and functional Senior Management client groups and needs to be agile and with the ability to recommend solutions and provide action plans to the Business Leaders. Fundamentally, the candidate must have proven record as HR Generalist with strong knowledge in Singapore Labour Laws/practices. Based in Singapore, this role will also be required to work closely with the various COEs in our APAC office for new HR initiatives and projects.
The candidate will also be responsible for guiding and implementing strategic and tactical HR initiatives aligned to business/organization’s objectives and should be results-oriented and have confidence and ability to create strong HR strategies, which support the business and thereby assists in the development and growth of the organization and the people. This role will be “hands-on" illustrating the ability to manage multiple HR disciplines.
- Vision and Values. Act as a champion and role model of our Vision and Values. Ensure that our people practices are effective in embedding and reinforcing our values and that we develop our leaders to be strong ambassadors of the Vision and Values.
- HR Strategy. Supports development and delivery of market HR strategy and leads the communication, implementation and measurement of key people initiatives and programmes within own business area in order to support a vibrant, fast-paced and high performance culture of the Group.
- Business Relationships. Build strong partnerships and act as a confidante, coach and constructive challenger to Brand Leads/Stakeholders.
- Business Management. Have a clear understanding of the organisational capabilities and how best to develop those capabilities through the HR strategy.
- Change Management. Lead and/or support Brand/Business Leaders in key organisational change management initiatives (M&A’s, organisational culture change, business process re-engineering, re-organisations).
- Talent Strategy & Management. Develop the careers of our talents through roles and assignments that will provide unique opportunities to build experience and skills. R500 program for high potential talents
- Employee Development. Work with Brand/Business Leaders to ensure that engaging career development plans are developed and implemented for the employees.
- Performance Development. Drive an effective approach to performance development with Brand/Business Leaders. Support Brand/Business Leaders in providing effective feedback to motivate high performers and improve poor performers.
- Employee Engagement. Mobilize commitment and accountability for employee engagement through our Leaders and Senior Managers and act as a support and advisor for Brand/Business Leaders in the area of Employee Engagement.
- Employee Relations. Solves key employee issues which might pose a significant risk to the business and organization.
- Proven HR track record working in fast-paced, collaborative and matrix organization
- At least 8-10 years of HR relationship management / business partnering experience. At least 2-3 years of experience in fast moving industries – preferably consultancy and services related
- Degree holder with well-rounded capability across the full HR spectrum (Talent Acquisition, Training & Development, Rewards & Recognition, Performance & Talent Management, Succession Planning) with at least minimum 3 years’ experience in a HR Business Partner role

- Excellent English communication skills to engage effectively with Senior Business Leaders/ all levels and conduct various presentations
- Ability to champion and drive OD initiatives that build the talent, culture, and capability needed to support the business needs
- Sound knowledge of local Labour Law will be advantageous with the ability to advise on practical application at Company and Brand level
