Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to take on a team leadership role within our Waikato/Tauranga Building Services group.

You’ll be part of a network of over 400 Building Services Engineers across Asia Pacific, working with diverse clients on projects that will enhance your leadership and technical capabilities.

In this role, you will:

• Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers, fostering growth and collaboration

• Provide electrical design philosophy and technical guidance across projects

• Deliver electrical building services design from concept to completion, including construction monitoring and commissioning

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop technical drawings, specifications, and reports

• Perform calculations for transformers, generators, UPS systems, lighting, and cable sizing

Ko wai koe | About you
You’re a qualified Electrical Engineer with:

• At least 6 years’ experience in low voltage electrical Building Services design and/or commissioning

• A consulting background and a passion for building client relationships

• Strong technical design and project management skills

• A proactive, positive approach to problem-solving and teamwork

• Experience with tools such as PowerCAD, AGI32, Bluebeam, and Revit (preferred)

• Familiarity with relevant NZ/Australian standards (desirable)

• Chartered status (CPEng) or actively working towards chartership
