Job Title: Database Administrator III

Location: Reston, VA

Duration: 7 months+

Need Full GC and USC

Need Locals

Responsibilities:

• Database engineering assessments
• Database buildouts
• DBMS certifications
• Performance tuning
• Script writing
• Performing backups/recovery, database monitoring
• SQL writing
• Providing 24 x 7 on call production support
• Providing developers with database administration support during development lifecycle

Required

• DB2 UDB EEE / DPF 10.5, 10.1, 9.7 (10+ years of experience)
• Performance Tuning
• Shell Scripting

Preferred

• Aix to Linux Migration Experience a plus
• Datastage Experience will be a plus

PROJECT REQUIREMENT

DBMS certifications, Script-writing, performing backups/recovery, database monitoring, SQL and performance tuning at all levels, on call production support (24x7), database and object design.
