Job description
- Employment law-working conditions, disciplinary and grievance procedures, equal opportunities redundancies, paternity pay and maternity rights.
- Recruitment consultancies, organizing interviews and running assessment centers.
- Training programme and identifying suitable courses for staff.
- Salary reviews-researching salaries and ensuring they are in line with legal requirements and industry standards.
- Documentation- writing staff handbooks.
- Contracts, staff memos, and issuing written offers of employments, promotion etc.
- Staff welfare- providing counseling facilities and sports and social activities for staff.
- May also work closely with company lawyers and trade unions.
A relevant first degree. A master’s degree in human resources or an MBA will be of advantage.
Relevant professional qualifications (CIPM, CIM).
At least three work experience in a similar job role.
35-50 years.
