Job description
- The financial controller oversees the day to day activities of the finance team and ensures the company finance function if organized and efficient and produces accurate financial and management accounts.
- Management of the finance function and overseeing the finance team.
- Preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flows.
- Maintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processes
- Preparation of monthly consolidated Pand L and balance sheet.
- Timely production of statutory and internal financial reports.
- Implementation and maintenance of all financial controls and systems within the business.
- Cash management and treasury duties.
- Ensuring that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained.
- Overseeing the payroll process.
- Overseeing all tax regulatory compliance issues.
- More than 10 years experience in similar position
- Fully qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) with previous financial control and management reporting experience.
- Experience in aviation industry would be advantageous
- You will be able to demonstrate your experience of managing an accounting team.
- The candidate should be a confident self-starter, with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment.
- You must be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, good judgment showing logical decision making, and a hands on approach.
- Computer literate with excellent excel skills and solid understanding of relevant accounting software principles.
