Role Summary and Impact

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Associate, Programmatic, to join the WPP Media Clients Team. You will be responsible for evangelizing our proprietary solutions amongst your peers within agencies, and our clients. You will oversee the entire campaign lifecycle, from initial strategy and planning to setup, execution, and ongoing optimization. Your role is crucial in ensuring that campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed client expectations. Through meticulous planning and continuous performance analysis, you will drive successful outcomes and deliver exceptional value to our clients.

Skills & Experience

What you will do:

  • Manage team and client relationships
  • Be the WPP Media Solutions product expert for Clients Team, evangelizing our world class digital solutions
  • Develop strong and effective media plans based on sound strategies
  • Supervise sales administration process and ensure adherence to best practice
  • Work with the Campaign Management team to ensure best practice campaign optimization and campaign reporting
  • Work with Clients Team and ad operations teams to ensure effective ad development and campaign setup

Client Relationship & Servicing:

  • Client Champion: Proactively communicate with clients, providing regular updates on campaign performance, industry trends, and new opportunities. Manage client expectations effectively and ensure their satisfaction with our services.
  • Trusted Advisor: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients based on trust, transparency, and proactive communication. Become a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance and recommendations to help clients achieve their business goals.

Account Management & Strategy:

  • Data-Driven Approach: You will leverage a data-driven approach to optimize campaign performance and drive client success.
  • This involves utilizing advanced analytics and data insights to inform strategy, planning, and execution.
  • You will analyse key performance metrics, identify trends, and make data-backed decisions to enhance the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.
  • Strategic Insight: Develop a deep understanding of client businesses, target audiences, competitive landscapes, and industry trends.
  • Goal-Oriented Planning: Collaborate with clients to define clear and measurable campaign objectives, aligning advertising strategies with overall business goals.
  • Management: Determine appropriate budgets and allocate resources effectively across different channels to optimize campaign performance.

Implementation & Operations:

  • Seamless Execution: Implementation of advertising campaigns across all channels, ensuring timely launch and accurate setup.
  • Budget Control: Manage campaign budgets and track spending meticulously to ensure optimal ROI and client transparency.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal teams (e.g., creative, analytics) to ensure seamless campaign execution and alignment with client expectations.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and Optimize campaign performance closely, using analytics tools to track key metrics and identify areas for improvement.

Optimization & Reporting:

  • Data-Driven Optimization: Regularly analyse data to uncover insights, adjust strategies, and implement changes that enhance campaign performance.
  • A/B Testing: Conduct A/B testing to identify the most effective campaign elements and optimize for conversions, engagement, and other key performance indicators.
  • Insightful Reporting: Generate regular reports that clearly communicate campaign performance, insights, and recommendations to clients in a digestible and actionable format.
  • Strategic Analysis: Analyse campaign data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, providing strategic recommendations to clients for future campaigns.

What you will need:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with programmatic channels (DSP, SSP and etc)
  • Proficiency in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Excel, PowerBI to track campaign performance, generate insights, and inform optimization strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to campaign planning, management and optimization.
