Position Description/Responsibilities:

This is a long-term position with specifics below...

PLC programmer to interface PLC sensors to Building Management Systems (BMS). This person would program/install sensors to capture and report on information regarding the maintenance of a building (pipe pressures, temperature readings, sensing wetness …)

o Create and document design requirements

o Create process flow diagrams

o Perform prototyping and testing of the designs

o Connect a sensor gateway to an Alerton BACnet controller via a BASrouter (Ethernet) and display values in the back-end web-based sensor system.

o Connect the Alerton BACnet controller to a Chipkin Modbus converter and display values in the back-end web-based sensor system

o Configure and connect a Bravo Controls T3 BACnet controller to existing building sensors and display values in the back-end web-based sensor system

Knowledge transfer of the hardware and software environments

ü Allen Bradley MicroLogix 1400, Alerton 853C, Schneider TSX Momentum

ü BACnet, DF-1, and Modbus

ü Schneider Electric Concept 2.6XL

ü Alerton Visual Logic

ü Alerton Envision

ü Rockwell RSLogix 500
