Job description
The Judiciary Information Technology, Technical Services is looking for an experienced z/OS Systems Programmer proficient in using IBM SMP/E to install both IBM and ISV products in an IBM z13 SYSPLEX/CICS/DB2 mainframe environment. Additionally, knowledge of IBM RACF Security is an added plus.
5+ years of IBM z/OS SMP/E experience in a medium to large size mainframe shop
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science (or related field experience) Please provide name of school attended, school address, type of degree, major and year of graduation.
One-hour unpaid lunch. Fingerprinting, Full State & Federal Background Check to be completed by the State.
Candidate will require the skills to perform the following job duties (plus other related duties as assigned): • Responsible for installation of software products using IBM SMP/E • Responsible for installation of ISV software products • Knowledge of RACF Administration an added plus • Document all Software installs
