Overview To function as a clinical and administrative resource to those who provide direct patient care. Under the guidance of the Nurse Manager or Supervisor, manage the process and administration of oral chemotherapy drugs to patients. Qualifications Required Education: High School Diploma or GED, and Vocational Training. Specific course work: Graduation from an approved Licensed Practical Nurse program. Preferred Education: N/A Necessary Skills: 1. Adheres to hospital policies and Florida Nurse Practice Act guidelines in providing patient care. 2. Demonstrates effective problem solving and communication skills with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
