The Opportunity

When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs), you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services, from Advisory to Assurance, Tax and Business Services. In our innovative hubs, you’ll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. You’ll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.

As part of the Risk and Compliance team you can play a key role in strengthening the organization’s control environment and maintaining the integrity of financial reporting. As a Manager you can lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. This position provides the opportunity to engage with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, driving process improvements and implementing leading practices in internal control over financial reporting.

Responsibilities

- Strengthen the organization’s internal control framework

- Lead teams in enhancing the integrity of financial reporting

- Collaborate with senior leadership to drive process enhancements

- Mentor junior staff and guide their development in compliance practices

- Manage client accounts and align with strategic goals

- Implement industry standards in internal controls and risk management

- Analyze compliance processes to identify areas for enhancement

- Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams to support initiatives

What You Must Have

- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy

- 5 years of experience in assessing control design and operating effectiveness over financial reporting

- Certified Public Accountant required

- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- 3 to 5 years of experience in ICFR engagements preferred

- Familiarity with GRC tools and data analytics preferred

- Proven ability to identify control gaps and drive remediation

- Experience working with cross-functional teams

- Ability to translate technical control issues into business insights

- Proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement

- Demonstrating analytical skills and attention to precision

- Excelling in communication and presenting findings to management
