Job description
- Strategy and execution of all direct response advertising initiatives on platforms including, but not limited to, Google Search, Facebook & Display.
- Manage online advertising budget. Responsible for negotiating all IO’s and contracts, monitoring fulfillment, and ushering invoices through Finance.
- Develop testing strategies in order to improve conversion value.
- Build effective display marketing efforts based on keyword, placement, topic, audience, demographics, and interests.
- Direct the development of digital creative including display ads, landing pages, and search text.
- Work with Data Analytics team to track and analyze the effectiveness of campaign performance, and make necessary adjustments to creative and online media investments to achieve an optimal ROI.
- Work with Data Analytics team to identify 1st party data and 3rd party data appends that can lend more effectiveness to PPC campaigns.
- Assist IT and the Membership teams in regularly evaluating technology stack to make sure all technology meets needs of an up to date online advertising program.
- Stay current on online advertising trends and make recommendations for updated strategies for digital acquisition initiatives, as well as other online advertising initiatives across the organizations.
- Research, evaluate, select and on-board new advertising partners and vendors.
- Work closely with broader Digital Marketing department to make sure all online advertising takes a full funnel and cross channel approach.
- 3-5 years of digital marketing experience with a solid understanding of online advertising, search marketing, display advertising creative design, landing page optimization, testing, ad serving technologies, and analytics.
- Experience with DoubleClick Campaign Manager and DoubleClick Bid Manager preferred
- Experience with managing advertising for multiple brands preferred.
- Knowledge of environmental issues and the political and legislative process.
- Creative and visually oriented. Ability to follow brand guidelines while still pursuing performance centered design. Photoshop or Canva experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills including KPI development and measurement.
- Proficiency with Microsoft office, specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency with Google Analytics and other analytics programs.
- Excellent inter-personal, negotiation and communication skills. Experience with vendor management preferred.
- Ability to operate in a fast paced and ever changing political environment.
- Ability to translate strategy into tactics, and ideas into action.
