Job description

We are seeking an organized and efficient HR Assistant Operations to join our team in Burgersfort, South Africa. In this role, you will provide crucial support to our Human Resources department, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

  • Assist in maintaining employee records and updating HRIS databases
  • Process HR-related documents, including new hire paperwork, benefits enrollment forms, and performance evaluations
  • Support recruitment efforts by scheduling interviews, conducting initial screenings, and preparing offer letters
  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits
  • Assist in organizing and conducting training sessions and employee events
  • Generate reports and analyze HR data to support decision-making processes
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
  • Perform general administrative duties to support the HR team
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in HR operations or a related field
  • Proficiency in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong data entry, management, and record-keeping skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and time management skills
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive information
  • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Understanding of relevant labor laws and regulations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is preferred but not required
