Supply Chain Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Supply Chain Supervisor to join our team in Burgersfort, South Africa. In this role, you will oversee and optimize our supply chain operations, ensuring smooth and cost-effective processes from procurement to delivery.

• Manage and coordinate daily supply chain activities, including inventory management, warehousing, and logistics
• Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners
• Supervise and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with South African logistics and transportation regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain strategies with overall business objectives
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports for management
• Implement and optimize supply chain management software and ERP systems
• Develop and execute inventory control strategies to minimize costs and maximize efficiency
• Lead projects aimed at enhancing supply chain effectiveness and reducing operational costs

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management or a related field
• Proven supervisory experience in a supply chain environment
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights
• Excellent knowledge of inventory management, logistics coordination, and vendor management
• Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to manage teams and liaise with stakeholders
• In-depth understanding of supply chain best practices and industry trends
• Familiarity with South African logistics and transportation regulations
• Professional certification such as APICS CSCP is preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisive, data-driven decisions
