Accountant

Analyzes financial information, detailing assets, liabilities, and capital.  Examines financial documents for accuracy and verifies them with book entries.  Summarizes current and projected company financial position.  Prepares periodic financial reports for management.  Prepares bi-weekly payroll and prepares corresponding reports for taxes and other withholding.  Makes tax deposits.  Prepares reports for various government agencies such as IRS, EDD, and County.  Prepares budget statements.  Prepares entries to general ledger and documents business transactions.  Controls bookkeeping activities.  Reconciles banking information. Audits as necessary.

Requires Master’s degree in Accounting and 1 year of experience.

In the alternative, will accept Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 5 years of experience or any suitable combination of education, training, and experience thereof. Experience can be progressive and no less than Bachelor's degree and 5 years experience is acceptable.
