Job description

  • Engage in regular dialogue with department heads and senior management for closing, budgets and throughout the month with requests and questions
  • Provide support to corporate management by creating reports as required.
  • Analyze and Monitor actual expenses versus budget for all New Construction projects and discuss with Visual/Facilities Team, Vice Presidents, and COO as necessary.
  • Analyze and understand monthly departmental expense reports against budget and be able to provide explanation of variances to Controller, VP of Finance, and COO.
  • Key participant in monthly closing meetings with Controller, VP of Finance and COO.
  • Responsible for monthly ADP interfacing to general ledger and works closely with payroll manager to update the mapping of interface with any payroll changes.
  • Create new financial reports with FRX/Management Report Writer and manage current reports with frequent updates and improvements to meet the needs and demands of the VP of Finance and COO.
  • Participate in annual budgets preparation process.
  • Monthly closing activities.
  • Monitor, analyze, reconcile, and prepare journal entries related to all balance sheet accounts (Fixed Assets, Prepaid Expenses, Prepaid Insurance, Security Deposits, Accounts Receivable, Accrued Expenses, etc)
  • Analyze and prepare Bank Reconciliations for multiple bank accounts, both Domestic and International.
  • Year-end interaction with outside auditors during year-end audit.

 

 

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience.
  • Accounting Degree.
  • Able to manage independently and partner with others to obtain results.
  • Self-starter with a problem-solver attitude and ability to multi task.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.

$65K to $75K plus Bonus
