Financial services firm seeking a CISCO Engineer for its NYC office.

 

Firm specializes in flexible FIX-based equity order management systems and full front-to-back office integration and compliance reporting services.

 

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the performance of the existing network, routers, switches and firewalls, both internal and customer facing. 
• Provide day to day support to customer connectivity issues or new connectivity requests
• Maintain technical skills on Cisco routers and switches and Juniper firewalls
• Participate in engineering new solutions for networking or monitoring
• Installation and troubleshooting of new telecom circuit connectivity
• Maintaining the internal phone system and VPN connectivity.

 

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years experience with CISCO / Juniper networks
• Experience with designing networks  
• Cisco certification a plus
