Job description

The Marketing & Communications Specialist coordinates efforts on behalf of the Student Health and Wellness area including, the Center for Student Support and Care, and the McDonald Center for Student Well-Being, University Counseling Center, University Health Services. As a part of the Division of Student Affairs, Student Health and Wellness supports Notre Dame’s Catholic, Holy Cross tradition by providing premiere services, resources, and education to promote the healthy development and well-being of all students. 

The Marketing & Communications Specialist will play a central role to implement established graphic and brand standards to cohesively execute the existing strategic communications.

  • Responsible for the oversight of print, web, and multimedia communication channels. This may include overseeing student workers for the development of materials using brand standards; 
  • Create print and electronic communications including social media marketing.
  • Coordinate communications efforts pertaining to area/departmental programming and events. 

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Health Communications or a related field.
  • 1-2 years experience with graphic and web design tools such as Adobe, Canva, etc
  • Strong command of English grammar, writing, and editing to manage communications materials including web and print materials.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in social media trends and content creation.
  • Familiarity with Instagram and willingness to learn basic video filming and editing.
  • Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented.

Hourly rate: $20.00

Hours: 10-15 hours per week
