Job description

To support the HR Director in managing the HR relationships and activities within the Affiliates of Spain and Portugal. To support and add value to the business in pursuit of their objectives and the overall Business goals as Affiliates of Excellence. To contribute to create and implement HR plans at local level that drive optimal business performance and ensure these are in line with HR polices and standards.

Employee Support and internal communication

Acts as a point of contact for all HR related questions ad queries from employees on operational aspects (if not addressable to the Shared Services) and actions or directs them as necessary.

Provides tactical support to the management on all HR related topics

Responsible for internal communication flow on HR matters; informs and advices (proactively and on request) employees on HR and organizational topics.

Contributes to maintain a workplace where people are fully engaged and can work in a smart and efficient way.

Staffing

Liaise with the Talent Acquisition team to implement and support the recruiting strategy at local level. Acts as a business partner for the managers to ensure the best employee staffing and performance, in line with the TA model. Liaise with local recruitment agencies on a need basis.

Supports on the Company employer branding.

Using information from HR Workday system, analyses, interprets and actively provides data and relevant updates to managers and employees on HR related topics.

Researches and develops reports for the management using internal and external data, statistics and information related to the department, its employees or the organization as a whole to identify trends and recommend solutions and processes for solutions.

Ensures the clarity of roles and responsibilities across the organization. Is responsible for defining the best profile together with the managers and for the update of the job descriptions.

HR processes & projects

Is responsible for developing, writing, implementing and maintaining policies and processes covering the position’s scope of work and responsibilities.

Liaises with the HR Shared Services and external consultants / providers in order to address and resolve issues. Actively participates in and supports HR projects / activities on different matters.

Performance Management and People Development

Counsels and advices all employees on the performance management process and tools.

Participates to the definition and implementation of development plans / training courses at local level, in line with business and people needs.

Onboarding

Responsible of the New Employees Orientation program for the Affiliate. Exploits international BIIB resources to build up and maintain a program for new hires to ensure that they are adequately introduced to and informed of all relevant Company information, policies, procedures and guidelines as well as Company culture and processes both at local and international level.

Compensation & Benefits

Liaises with the Compensation & Benefits Partners to complete external and internal surveys for benchmarking and collecting relevant information to address actions on this area.

Supports the team on all operational activities related to comp & ben, to be performed at local level.

Qualifications :

• Professional expertise in the HR field (at least 2-3 years)

• Preferably experience in multinational companies, with some working experience in the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry.

• Expertise in performance management, talent management, organizational and employee development, recruitment and selection, and Workday system are desirable.

• Good understanding of the business and pharmaceutical industry is a plus

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology or business related field.

• Proficiency in Spanish and English a must. Portuguese will be considered a plus
