Market Access Lead, Alzheimer’s Disease (AD)

We are currently looking for a Market Access Lead to join our Market Access team for Alzheimer’s based in Stockholm, Sweden.

The purpose of this role is to lead the payer related activities for Alzheimer’s products in Sweden:

• Condition the market to enable a successful launch of Alzheimer’s products in the country by evolving the partnership with payers and other strategic stakeholders
• Build and manage the patient pathway in country X together with the 3M colleagues
• Ensuring the dedicated Alzheimer’s colleagues collaborate effectively with cross functional resources from Biogen’s specialty and biosimilar business units
• Ensure funding pathway for both diagnostic tools and Aducanumab is in place and clearly specified when payer negotiations start

In this role you will lead the market access activities related to Alzheimer’s disease in Sweden in collaboration with the Head of Market Access and Country manager in Sweden.

Primary Responsibilities

• Gather and communicate the payer needs in Sweden, coordinates the product plan for market access, participate in teleconferences, core product team meetings
• Participates actively in industry associations working groups, drive or initiate Alzheimer’s Disease initiatives to promote state of the art DMT treatment for the older generation
• Ensure local cross functional work with public affairs, medical commercial and other departments to condition the market for the arrival of Biogen’s new Alzheimer’s treatment
• Work closely with the Global Value & Access team for Alzheimer’s to ensure appropriateness of materials delivered. Partner and collaborate on timelines, strategy and KPIs
• Prepare all local payer related materials needed for market access success
• Prepares the scientific and economic dossiers for submission, prepares pricing discussions, and meets the stakeholders
• Drive local data generation, to fill payer communication gaps, liaise closely with global V&A to ensure alignment to strategy and other initiatives for data generation
• Follows the local regulations on prices
• Prepare for reimbursement negotiations; create the framework an optimal access agreement with all negotiation steps carefully planned.
• Leads the budget process for Market access in Country X with regards to Aducanumab
• Develops the market access function and capabilities to meet the current and future market access needs in Sweden
• Provides coaching, training and shares best practices with Aducanumab Market Access Field team

Experience

• 9+ years in pharmaceutical industry, minimum 6 in local Market Access function
• Significant experience in direct interaction with local payers at all levels and a proven track record of access successes
• Strong network in the external
