Job description
This role closely partners with business representatives in PO&T, Finance and other support functions and supports the implementation of Biogen global strategic platforms and operating models, the scope covers Japan and APAC region for ERP solutions including Oracle EBS and satellite systems. This role will be responsible for developing and managing high quality business requirements for PO&T, Finance and other support functions related IT projects, following standard methodologies and using approved templates for requirements documentation.
- Participate in global Finance and/or Supply Chain projects, advocate for Japan-specific requirements in global projects and ensure successful local execution of global projects.
- Partner closely with the Japan PO&T & Finance organizations to determine IT needs and opportunities in the Japan affiliate; manage the relationship between the Finance & PO&T communities and the Biogen IT organization.
- Collaborate with other functions (Commercial, G&A, R&D) to understand connection points and ensure effective, end-to-end solutions.
- Partner with the support organization to ensure application and user support (when necessary, acting as an escalation point) for the IT solutions on the Oracle e-Business Suite and Business Object Platforms, including assistance in configuration, setup and testing of Japanese functions within Oracle, and development of training materials for the End User.
- Define and manage the execution of local IT projects.

- Expertise with development of Use Cases
- Familiar with various techniques to elicit and verify requirements
- Hands-on experience documenting and verifying business and functional requirements
- High learning agility
- Strong interpersonal skills, influencing skills and facilitation skills
- Knowledge of Oracle Agile PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)
- Knowledge of Oracle Value Chain Planning Suite (in particular ASCP, Demantra)"
