Job description

  • Implement Market and Network Strategy for EU+, APAC, LATAM
  • Increase utilization of direct-to-hospital/pharmacy/patient models- as legally and economically feasible across products/market
  • Consolidate network footprint, stocking points and partners to optimize service, cost and complexity of future channels
  • Negotiate channel terms to ensure transparency and economics are in line with the standard practice and benchmarks
  • Lead continuous improvement projects and mindset to drive process standardization and efficiency improvements of D&L Processes
  • Drive program financial objectives: Manage cost tracking tool and reporting mechanism to Senior Leadership
  • Ensure tight linkage between Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, Legal, Quality, Sourcing and other functions, including coordination with other major initiatives
  • Ensure flow of information and drive the need for effective decision making
  • Minimum 8 years work experience in Distribution & Logistics
  • Deep cross functional knowledge in logistics, finance, commercial, quality and operations/Supply Chain processes and IT interfaces. Cross functional Program Management experience

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for implementing a customer-centric distribution model to serve Biogen’s current and future portfolio, increasing Quality of Service and Standard of Care for patients. This is a challenging and highly-visible role that serves to transform and simplify the current International Commercial Distribution Model in order to optimally meet commercial objectives and ensure business continuity for all current and future franchises.
