Global Manufacturing Sciences – 12 months Internship

As an intern, you will get involved in the day to day work supporting ongoing commercial drug product manufacturing activities for small and/ or large molecules drug marketed as a solid dosage forms respectively parenteral products including process optimization activities, process validations, transfers and investigations under the guidance of a dedicated mentor. In addition, you will gain insights into the manufacturing of the drug’s active pharmaceutical ingredient (API). Further you will have a chance to gain experience in Continued Process Verification (CPV), a formal data monitoring program for commercial manufacturing processes, and trend, interpret and present API and drug product manufacturing data. It’s foreseen that the intern will contribute to common GMP documents e.g. risk assessments, technical reports, process validation documentation, Manufacturing Technical Documentations (MTD) and Annual Product Reviews (APR).

Responsibilities

Your scope includes (but is not limited to)

• Participate in day to day work supporting day to day business, technical transfers, investigations, Continued Process Verification and process improvements
• Creating and maintaining relevant GMP technical documentations related to validations, risk analysis, deviations, improvement projects and process control specifications.
• Trending, statistical analysis and presentation of manufacturing data.
• Independent research of scientific literature and regulatory guidance published by the major health authorities.
• Summarization of projects highlighting the accomplishments and poster/oral presentation at staff/department meetings.
• Fundamental understanding of theoretical and practical aspects of pharmaceutical manufacturing operations and/or knowledge in primary packaging of solid dosage forms under Good Manufacturing
