I.T. Development Manager

Job description
Our client based in South Kent requires an I.T. Development Manager to lead and support a small team.
Reporting to the Head of I.T. the role will involve:
·Assisting in the Day to day application support, configuration and customisation of the corporate ERP system
·Working on I.T. Projects and assisting with the I.T. Strategy
·Day to Day management of the I.T. development team
·Scope IT work and assess resource and cost commitments
·Work closely with the IT Support and Infrastructure teams, to achieve departmental objectives
·Communicate with the whole business on IT matters
·Produce IT documentation e.g. procedures
·Manage assigned projects to ensure the desired result is achieved
Suitable candidates will have the following skills / experience / attributes:
·Minimum of 1 years’ experience within a similar role, including people management
·Hands on technical experience of software development or database administration
·Experience with an ERP system preferably IFS Applications (desirable)
·Be able to demonstrate an understanding of: Application Support, Business Intelligence, Agile Development Methodology and Cyber Security
·Experience of IT legislation and regulation e.g. GDPR
·Full, clean driving licence with use of own vehicle
Salary is dependent upon skills and experience plus pension, private healthcare and discretionary bonus scheme.
