Job description
A well-established acute care hospital in Hudson, FL is seeking a dedicated Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to join its night shift team. This role involves delivering a full range of respiratory services, including mechanical ventilation, emergency interventions, and individualized care planning. The ideal candidate is a skilled respiratory care professional with a strong focus on patient outcomes and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Administer routine and advanced respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages.
Operate ventilators for both short- and long-term mechanical ventilation.
Develop and implement individualized Respiratory Care Plans.
Document patient care in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize outcomes.
Completion of a vocational/technical or AMA-approved respiratory care program (Associate degree required; Bachelor’s preferred).
Current Florida CRT license.
BLS certification (AHA) required.
ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required within 6 months of hire.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and move frequently throughout the shift.
Differentials
Nights: +$4.50/hour
Weekends: +$3.00/hour
