Job description

Join a high-performing cardiovascular and interventional radiology team as a Special Procedures Technologist. In this role, you will scrub, circulate, and monitor advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies in a supportive, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist interventional physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures.

  • Prepare sterile trays, maintain sterile field, and adhere to hospital protocols.

  • Administer contrast media according to age- and weight-specific guidelines.

  • Monitor, record, and interpret hemodynamic measurements and valve area readings.

  • Administer IV medications and maintain IV access.

  • Document procedures in Meditech and verify images in PACS.

  • Safely measure and dispose of radioactive waste per regulations.

  • Cross-train in the cardiac cath lab and participate in on-call rotation.

Required:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.

  • Current ARRT certification [RT(R)].

  • BLS certification.

  • Minimum 1 year of Special Procedures, Cath Lab, or EP Lab experience.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred:

  • ACLS certification (or completion within 6 months of hire).

  • Neuro lab experience.
