Job description
We are seeking a Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) Technician with strong experience in EP and ablation devices to join our expanding Electrophysiology program. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with cardiac services in a Level II Trauma Center, contributing to cutting-edge care for patients with complex cardiac conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease, as well as cardiac arrhythmias in the Cath/EP Lab.
Provide specialized care for patients undergoing PTCA, stent placement, IABP placement, EP devices, and ablations.
Collaborate with the Cardiac Services team to ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited program.
2 years of EP experience with knowledge of ablation devices (acute care strongly preferred).
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Credentialed as one of the following:
Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
Cardiovascular Technologist (CV Tech)
