Registered Nurse Pulmonary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Pulmonary to join our team of healthcare professionals. The Pulmonary unit cares for patients requiring specialized pulmonary treatments in a fast-paced setting, making this an excellent opportunity for a nurse seeking to expand their clinical expertise.

Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Rotating Weekends)  

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and assess patient health data and evaluate progress.

• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.

• Provide education to patients and families regarding treatments, medications, and procedures.

• Advocate for patient safety while ensuring efficient use of resources.

• Deliver consistent, high-quality care aligned with the unit’s patient-centered model.

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (within the last 4 years).

• Licensure: Active Florida RN license or Multistate Compact License.

• Education: Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.

• Certifications:

  • BLS required before start date.

  • NIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days of hire.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be comfortable with a 7:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.

• Must live within 60 minutes of Gainesville.

• In-person interview, shadow session, and facility tour required for consideration.
