Registered Nurse Med/Surg

We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) team in Kansas City, MO. This is an excellent opportunity to provide holistic care to patients with medical, surgical, cardiac, neurologic, orthopedic, and nephrology needs in a fast-paced, team-driven environment within a Level I Trauma Center.

This position offers both day and night shifts, with rotating weekends, and the potential for a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance on a case-by-case basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments in accordance with hospital and unit protocols

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans to support optimal patient outcomes

• Deliver direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed support staff

• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and discharge instructions

• Provide emotional support that aligns with patient age, culture, and condition

• Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience (recent experience not required)

• Education:

  • ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program

• Licensure:

  • Active RN license in Missouri or Compact RN license with MO eligibility

• Certifications:

  • BLS certification (required upon hire)
