Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Responsibilities:

• Triage and assess patients of all ages in a high-acuity ER setting

• Deliver individualized, evidence-based nursing care

• Simultaneously manage multiple patient cases with efficiency

• Collaborate with physicians and other departments to coordinate care

• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-ups

• Prioritize patient safety, infection control, and timely interventions

Unit Details:

• 44-bed Emergency Department

• 25 treatment beds, 18 care path spaces, and 4 triage bays for low-acuity patients

• Reports to ER Manager and Director of Emergency Services

• Strong team collaboration and growth environment

• Active RN license (Florida or multistate/compact)

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (within last 12 months)

• Associate Degree or RN Diploma required

• BLS (prior to start)

• ACLS, PALS, and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (within 90 days of hire)
