Job description
Job Level Specific Duties
- Analyzes business and user needs, documents requirements, and revises existing system logic difficulties.
- Implements systems applications and tests end-user processes.
- Creates / delivers correspondence, presentations, and other materials for end user training.
- Responds to client inquiries involving application questions.
- Develops customized queries and reports utilizing complex table matrices.
- Interacts with clients, internal and external, acting as a key liaison between business and technology areas.
- Documents business rules / functional requirements to support system enhancements.
- Oversees external product vendors� performance and collaborates on future system enhancements.
Typical Years of Experience
- Typically requires 4-6 years relevant experience.
Skills
- Solid knowledge of system development methodology, project management and system architecture. Solid analytical / problem solving skills.
- Ability to evaluate IT and business challenges from a broad perspective.
- Strong influencing and excellent communication skills. Ability to translate between non-technical business users and technical IT resources. Strong client service attitude.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Physical Requirements/ Working Conditions
- Ability to physically perform general office requirements.
- Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Significant travel including overnight domestic or international trips may be required.
Minimum Education and Certifications
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
