WORK EXPERIENCE:

Conceptual\Logical Skills

The candidates should be able to query firewall syslog data to identify specific data sets relative to common source/destination IP’s, protocols, and ports. Then consolidate the data sets into functional summarized Cisco firewall access-list rule sets.

Candidates should have at least 60 months experience, and following should apply:

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Cisco ASA Firewall Experience

• access-list builds
• access-list consolidation
• network & service object-groups
• nested object-groups

Windows & Linux

• RegEx scripting

File Query Utilities

• grep, ultra edit, notepad++
• context query
• data extraction and consolidation
• relationship tables
