Architect and implement the FRG cluster Security Network and team training.

Duties include but are not limited to:

•  Bring solid technical and security knowledge to build and manage firewalls including VPN tunnels in a multi-tenant environment.
•  Design, build and implement a variety of connections via public and private circuits including MPLS, QOS and BGP with mindfulness of costs.
•  All design recommendations are communicated clearly with description of the changes, resources needed and costs.
•  Based on current workload, create training labs for team members. Brainstorm sessions on design, different approaches to a problem evaluating why one may be better than another.
•  Analysis and management of bandwidth.
•  Work with multiple agency security teams evaluating requirements and provide solid technical and security knowledge, then move their traffic through new data center environment.
•  Analyze traffic for troubleshooting and restricting rules and appropriate routing.
•  All design and work is carefully thought out, documented and diagramed.
•  Review and analyze firewall change requests for accuracy, security and feasibility.
•  Review of new technology options and how they could benefit our environment.
•  Set up, maintain and train team on F5 load balancer.

Experience in highly available network perimeter design, implementation and support.

Experience in design, building and implementing secure connections via public and private circuits including MPLS, QOS and BGP

Architecting and implementing data center switching environment

Experience in team training including workload specific creation of training labs.

F5 Load Balancing experience

Bachelor’s Degree

CISSP Certification
