Tax Attorney/ REIT

We have are seeking a tax attorney with 7 to 10 years experience who has specialized in REIT taxation. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing counsel related to initial REIT qualification and SEC registrations, as well as ongoing operational issues, including transactions involving property ownership by qualified REIT subsidiaries; transactions involving the transfer of real properties to limited partnerships having a REIT as the general partner (UPREITs); and the activities of Taxable REIT Subsidiaries (TRSs).

Excellent writing credentials, and strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills are required.
