Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

To develop, enhance, and improve product lines of fertilizer for FGV Fertiliser Sdn Bhd. Technical solution provider to a wide range of customers and after-sales service.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Visiting fields to collect seed, plant, and soil samples and testing samples for nutritional deficiencies, diseases, or other changes.
• Researching, developing, and promoting fertilizer or products that diminish the effects of changes in soil, climate, and weather or prevent damage from pests.
• Market research & identifying new opportunities and tracking them.
• Provide pre-sales technical support
• Maintain a high level of open communication within the team and supporting work groups
• Maintain excellent client relationships with existing and potential clients
• Gather information, internally and externally, to support these discussions. Responsible for getting the orders
• Develop long-term relationships with clients, by managing and interpreting their requirements
• Provide support to the sales team in achieving the business targets
• Provide training to the salespeople to improve the sales pitch
• Promoting products and techniques through educational presentations.
• To handle and monitor all related policies and SOPs as required
• Hands-on related government and companies requirement on rules and regulations
• To be involved in preparations of product and technical info for career enhancement
