Job description
- Managing technical testing departments in a high volume reference laboratory.
- Processes quality control, and overall production operation of the immunoassay department testing TSH, Hepatitis, HIV, Tumor Makers, and other immunoassay/serology tests.
- will assign, oversee, and review the quality of employee work, direct all phases of work, quality, service, and costs, and perform testing and special projects as required
- Supervision of staff of 15 FTEs---Assigns, oversees, and reviews the work of employees
- Directs all phases of work, quality, service, and costs; and performs tests or assays as required.
- Operation of the immunoassay department
- Must be accountable and able to work with tenured staff
- Requires a B.S. /B.A. Degree w/1-3 years of supervisory experience
- Must meet all State & Local licensing requirements
- Must meet CLIA requirements
- Ideal candidate is a Medical Technologist (MT) with ASCP, NCA, or AMT certification or has equivocal experience with a 4 year degree
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, 5S and ISO is a plus
- Background in Immunology is a plus!
- Legal authorization to work in the US
- Pay: DOE
- Shift: 3rd Shift---Tues-Sat, 12AM-8:30AM
