Job description
- Initiates vendor contacts by telephone, letter, or fax and/or responds to inquiries from vendors regarding delivery status of purchased material or Honeywell supplied materials and specifications.
- Identifies actual or potential delivery or documentation problems. Develops contingency plans to resolve most problems and initiates or recommend action. May assist other employees in the solution of complex problems or in developing acceptable alternatives.
- Obtains and maintains records on delivery status and presents management with timely reports or summaries. Prepares special reports, charts, and analysis as requested.
- Serves as departmental focal point to user departments on delivery status. Provides current information to users and responds to their inquiries.
- Occasionally interfaces with incoming inspection, receiving and accounts payable staff to correct administrative and documentation.
- Performs other duties, as required, of a lesser, similar, or related nature.
- Reports to the manager of a department and is responsible for conducting various administrative duties under general guidance and direction.
- Some of these activities are: lock down price review, tactical past due management (reporting, analysis,cross referencing, etc.), order acknowledgement and OOR distribution, update system with message changes, notes and revised commitment dates, quote management, run reports, expedite parts and escalations (tool) management, compliance data management, run LOB and Shortahe reports for critical deliveries, run performance reports and aminister metrics trending, invoiuce discrepancies, baseline change requests and part data management (inactive parts, lead time corrections/validation)

- High School Diploma/GED
- SAP experience
- Experience with running analyses on Excel
- Basic procurement skills and 1 year experience in Supply Chain or Sourcing preferred.
- Quick Learner
- Knowledge of Honeywell specific systems such as OneSource, PDM, ESourcing, etc.
- Be a self starter capable of working on their own to accomplish their tasks.
- Demonstrates positive behavioral skills and a high degree of self motivation.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and motivates people with no direct authority.
- Effective written and verbal communication skill, organized and computer skilled.
- Looking for candidate with SAP knowledge.
- Comfortable running reports and background using Excel to analysis data.
- Team player who will be working with 6 buyers in Tucson and also supporting remote buyers in Mexicali and Tempe/PHX sites
- Must be an effective communicator with suppliers and team members.
- Must have experience using Microsoft Office Applications; Excel, Word, and Power Point.
- Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken.

- Work Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00AM to 3:30pm/4:00pm.
- Pay: DOE
- 9+ month contract
