Job description
The Supply Chain Intern is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the company's supply chain operations. This includes procurement, logistics and inventory management. The role ensures efficient and cost-effective movement of goods and services from suppliers to the warehouse while maintaining quality and compliance standards. The internship term is a period of 3 months.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and optimize the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, inventory control and transportation.
Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and goods.
Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to prevent shortages or excesses.
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and quality standards.
Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to obtain the best value and service.
Prepare and maintain accurate reports and documentation.
Develop and implement supply chain strategies that improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Assist in crisis management and resolving supply chain disruptions.
Collaborate with finance and other departments to align supply chain activities with business goals.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
Fresh graduate
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
