Job Description: Please feel free to revise the following: The Continuous Improvement Coordinator will have the following responsibilities, but not limited to: Developing and running reports in excel and Zarpac Coordinating Lean Six Sigma activities and Green Belt Training Support Black Belts by collecting off shift data Support Black Belts by following up on project action items Support Black Belts by completing action items for projects All other duties/projects as assigned - Contractor will get Kraft green belt training Requirements: B.A. in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering discipline. Able to work flexible, irregular as well as weekend shifts if required. Must have strong PC skills in Excel

Under supervision, and unsupervised, performs various Continuous Improvement Engineering tasks as assigned, which may include recognizing problem areas, collecting data, developing improvement plans, executing those plans, providing assistance for employees and analyzing results.

Preferably have candidate be a Newly Grad

Be able to work in a team

General Duties. Hands on plant floor studies Black Belt and Green Belt project support Data Collection Input and Analysis of Data Project Implementation Plans

Desired Skills/Background. Four year college degree in a Technical related field. Mechanical aptitude and a background in statistics considered a plus. Basic knowledge of Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma concepts. Should have computer skills to include Excel and PowerPoint. Great writing and communication skills. Need to have an approachable personality and ability to work with many levels of the organization. Will be working in team environment. However, needs to be able to work independently as required.

Hours are Mon - Fri the position is typically on first shift with the possibility of off shifts and weekends. 40 hour work week maximum (no overtime).
