You will advise on efficient sourcing strategies, commercial considerations, and vendor relationships. By supporting strategic purchasing decisions, you will help optimize cost, value, and compliance in a global environment. Responsibilities: Partner with clients to define software needs and align them with business objectives Advise on vendors, licensing models, and commercial arrangements Lead negotiations on pricing, contract terms, and renewals Analyze costs to identify savings, risks, and optimization opportunities Manage the full contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance and smooth renewals Track software market trends to provide relevant, data-driven guidance What we need to see from you Background in software procurement, IT consulting, or vendor management Solid understanding of licensing models, commercial terms, and supplier ecosystems Skilled in negotiating contracts and engaging with senior stakeholders Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate cost, value, and risk Experience with Microsoft Office and procurement or contract management tools Professional certifications (e.g, CIPS, CSCP, CPCM) are an advantage Our company benefits vary based on your location, but always include: Global company culture: We defined our 6 core values through our company culture ( https://www.softwareone.com/en/our-story/our-values ).
